Marilyn Floydine Pincock Smith

Our loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Marilyn Floydeen Pincock Smith, 85, passed away peacefully at her home.
Marilyn was born on April 2, 1929 in Ogden, Utah to John Gilbert and Jesse Loper Pincock. She grew up in Ogden where she met Dee Waldron Smith and they were married on August 7, 1952. Together they had two sons and two daughters and lived in Ogden City for almost 60 years. In 2010 they moved to Tremonton. Dee passed away on January 15, 2013.
Marilyn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked as a nurse for over 40 years. She was also past-president of the Police Women’s Auxiliary.
She enjoyed spending the summers at Bear Lake and traveling with her husband and family in their motorhome.
Marilyn is survived by her loving children: son, John E. (Tracy) Smith of Tremonton and daughters Sandy (Brent) Gibson of Riverdale and Tammy (Jeff) Garn of South Ogden; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dee; parents, John and Jessie Pincock; brothers, Ray and Jack, and son, Jerry D. Smith.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
