Marion Rea Spooner Ingram

Marion Rea Spooner, 75, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at her home in North Ogden. She was born on October 5, 1943 in Seattle, WA, the daughter of Ronald E. and Wynona R. Bennett Spooner. She was able to see the part of the Country as she moved around. She lived in Washington, California, Boise, ID, Raleigh, North Carolina, before settling her last few years in North Ogden, Utah. She resided in North Ogden from 2011 until her passing.
She attended BYU Hawaii for two years before going to Oregon State where she earned her Bachelors Degree. She was a teacher, coach, EMT, and firefighter.
Marion married Ralph K. Ingram.
She was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a testimony of the gospel and served on five missions–Guatemala, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Hawaii, and Bentonville Arkansas. She also served as a Red Cross Volunteer for over ten years.
Marion loved playing Tennis and Pickleball.
Marion is survived by her sons, Donald James Morrison and Theron Dolliver Morrison; daughter, Whitne V. Strain; 12 grandchildren; brother, Jim Spraner; and sister, Devennie Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph K. Ingram and parents.
Friends may visit with family on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Marion will be buried in Washington at the Washelli Cemetery at a later date.
