OGDEN a€" An extraordinary man returned into the loving arms of his wife, daughter, and our gracious Lord, on Monday, February 4, 2008. Marion Peter Jeppsen''s life was one for hard work, dignity, and the service for others. His love and endless sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was also known to the C.B. Radio community as "Super Wrench".

Marion was born May 28, 1918 in Moore, Idaho, to Daniel Peter and Minnie Jacobsen Jeppsen. When Marion was two years old the family moved to Mantua, Utah and shortly after moved to Brigham City where he and his family owned a wrecking yard and his love for automobiles and mechanics began.

On June 9, 1944, he married the love of his life, Tenna Ree Johnson in Farmington, UT. Later they moved to Ogden to spend their life together. Tenna preceded him in death on October 31, 1992.

Marion worked as a top inspector for Hill Air Force Base from 1950 to 1976.

Surviving are three children, Randy Jeppsen, Nevada; Cheryl (Tim) Stocks, Layton; Rhonda Jeppsen (Sid Brimhall), Ogden; six grandchildren whom Marion considered to be his children, Pete (Elane) Carr, Idaho; Buddy (Shawnee) Monson, Roy; Lori (Bob) Stocks, Hooper; Kevin Jeppsen (Crystal Peterson), Season Jeppsen, and Chelsey Brimhall, all of Ogden; 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers and two sisters, Lavon (Bonnie) Jeppsen, Nevada; Violet Anderson, Brigham City; Wanda (Clifford) Hammer, Roy; Don (Beth) Jeppsen, Brigham City; Junior (Alice) Jeppsen, both of Brigham City; and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, one son, one daughter, one granddaughter, nine brothers and three sisters.

The family would like to thank Alora Weaver and Andrea Nelson from Alpine Home Care for doing all they have in the past two years for our Dad.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
