Marion Elizabeth Woodard Passey, beloved angel mother, Gammy, Great-Gam; celebrated children''s author, born May 24, 1921, returned to her Heavenly Parents Wednesday, December 30, 2009.

Surviving are children and spouses, Jamie (Tom) Niekamp, John (Cathy) Atherton, Cristie (Stan) Gardner, Melanie (David) Law, 24 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and brother, John Woodard.

Marion authored multiple best-selling children''s books. A successful contester, she won countless items that blessed her family. She created beautiful verse and humorous tales and gifted loved ones with counted cross stitch masterpieces. Her courage, faith, wisdom, wit, and love remain priceless examples. We will miss her deeply as an elect woman of equanimity and grace.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville Tabernacle, 198 W. Center Street. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main Street and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
