Marion Jay Roueché, 89, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his home in Kaysville, Utah from natural causes. He was born October 1, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Leonard C. and Ruth Lee Roueché.
He married Marlene Polatis on May 19, 1960 in the Idaho Falls Temple. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Korean War.
Marion was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving faithfully in many callings, including serving a mission to the Eastern United States.
Marion worked for the Davis County School District as a carpenter and he loved caring for his animals, especially his beaver.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene and their children: Michelle R. (Stephen) Chipman (Tustin, California), Clark Marion (Trena) Roueché (Plain City, Utah), Marilei Roueché (Kaysville, Utah) and Candis (Paul) Thompson, Layton, Utah, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Ned B. (JoAnn) Roueché and Gordon F. (Sherrill) Roueché both of Kaysville.
A private family service will be held in his honor on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Interment, Kaysville Cemetery.
