Marion Wall passed away peacefully with her family at her side, on September 16, 2016 in Layton.

Marion was born Aug 3 1933 in Ogden Utah. She was the daughter of Arthur and Sarah DeYoung Saunders. She was the second of four children. She graduated from Ogden High School.

She married Kenneth Wall in 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Utah, Idaho and Tennessee during their married life. They had five children.

Her family was her world and loved her grand and great grand children with all her heart. In her declining years, her family was everything to her.

She was active in the LDS church in Relief Society, Primary and Young Women's programs. She loved doing humanitarian aid projects and directed many in these efforts in her local wards. She was a temple worker for many years at the Ogden temple. She was also active in all areas of scouting in her wards and been awarded the wood badge and silver buffalo award.

She was a member of the Civil Air Patrol Search and Rescue.

She loved camping and fishing and was the camp tender for hunting. She loved sports and held multiple positions with the girls softball team. She compiled many family histories and was active with genealogy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister Shirley (Clyde) Moss, two grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law. She is survived by her siblings - Wayne (Joan) Saunders-Longmont, Colorado and Barbara (Pete) Larsen-Morgan and her children – Kenny (Rosa) Wall-Baird, Texas, Verla (Mauricio) de Araquistain- Naples, Florida, Linda Wall-Riverdale, Russ (Cindy) Wall-Layton, Chris (Mark) Fulcher-South Jordan. She has 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held Monday night 6 to 8 pm and Tuesday 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Lindquist Mortuary with interment at Aultorest Cemetery.
