Marjorie Elizabeth Stock Christensen passed away on September 14, 2009 at her home in Bountiful after a long, valiant and dignified battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Marjorie was born May 10, 1935 to Francis Earl Stock and Lois Wade Stock in Waterflow, New Mexico. She attended school in the San Juan County Central school district, graduating from Central High School in 1953. Marge fulfilled her lifelong dream of being a nurse when she graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS degree and Registered Nurse certification in 1957. She served honorably in the Canadian Mission of the LDS church from 1958-1960.

On March 22, 1962, Marge married Darol Christensen in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They are the proud parents of three children, Cheryl of Bountiful; Craig of Burlington, Kentucky; and Charlene (Wayne) Hankammer of Artesia, New Mexico.

Marge was preceded in death of her parents and her brother Robert. She is survived by her husband of Bountiful; her three children; her brothers Richard (Marilyn) of Spanish Fork; David (Gail) of Farmington, New Mexico; Ronald (Vicki) of West Bountiful; Marvin (Linn) of Farmington, New Mexico; and sister JoAnn Barton of Deming, New Mexico.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 21,2009 in the LDS Chapel at 720 E 550 N in Bountiful. Family and friends may call on Sunday, September 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist Mortuary, 727 N 400 E in Bountiful and Monday from 9:45 -10:45 a.m. prior to services. Internment in the Bountiful City Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The American Lung Association.
