Marjorie H. Cummings

Marjorie H. Cummings, 82, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 at her home.

She was born January 10, 1925 in Crowell, Texas to Jesse James and Velma Hollis Hafley. She was raised and educated in Texas.

On July 26, 1945 Marjorie married Marvin Hoy Cummings in Pilot Point, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 1, 1995. They lived in California for several years before moving to Bountiful. In 1982 they moved to Oklahoma. After Marvin died she moved to Clinton.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Layton, Utah.

One of her greatest loves was her dog, Chico. She loved her garden, her flowers and her many turtles.

Marjorie is survived by two children, Ron (Tara) Cummings, Clinton; Linda (Jeff) Wood, Syracuse; six grandchildren, Michael (Litia) Cummings, Hawaii; Mindy Cummings (Deb Mills), Oklahoma City, OK; Jennifer (Geof) Miller, Layton; Troy (Haly) Thurgood, Clinton; McCann Cummings, Clinton; Mason Cummings, Clinton; nine great-grandchildren, Colton, Laura, Justin, Isaiah, Abigail, Brooke, Jorgen, Makaila, Exander; and one sister, Billie Fae Cottle, Denton, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Ora Lea Crabb and Millie Mildred Harris.

Funeral services will be held in Oklahoma City, Ok at a later date.
