Marjorie Doxey Delahunty passed away, peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She was born to Hyrum Watkins and Ruby Ella Hadley Doxey on May 14, 1929 in Ogden, Utah.  She married Joseph Cash Delahunty in the Logan Temple on August 1, 1947.

Marjorie grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School.  She was a member of the LDS Church and served in many callings.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking and was a supportive wife to her husband.  Marjorie was a devoted mother and grandmother who always remembered important family dates, including all birthdays.  She valued her work as secretary in the family owned business of Floor Coverings by Certified, but her family was always her greatest joy.

She is survived by her sons, Vaun, Murray, UT, Vern (Pam), St. George, UT, Alan (Linda) Draper, UT, Michael (Diane), Santa Clarita, CA; daughter, Debra (Bryan) Pulsipher, Murray, UT; 24 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her husband, parents, great-granddaughter Indiana Starr Delahunty, and brother Hyrum Hadley “Doc” Doxey.

A special heartfelt gratitude extended to Kathy and Martha for the companionship and care they gave our Mother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 14^th at the Wilford Ward Chapel, 3179 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah, with a visitation from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.  Arrangements under the direction of Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.  Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
