Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Sister, Marjorie Anne Eaton, 79, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012. She was born on April 8, 1933 to John Melvin and Thelma Ione Coffin Van Kirk. Marjorie was born, raised and married in Brisbane, California. She came to Utah in 1993, where she lived until she passed away.

She married Thomas Robert Eaton on April 7, 1950. He passed away on October 16, 2003.

Marjorie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she loved teaching Primary. Marjorie served on the Board of Directors for the Midtown Clinic for 13 years.

She made beautiful woven blankets for her children, grandchildren and members of the community. She also made winter hats for local homeless shelters.

Marjorie is survived by her sons, Alan (Judy) Eaton, Clearlake, CA and Robert Eaton, Shelton, WA; daughters, Rosanne Hazen, Clinton, UT; Susan Hafenstine, Redding, CA; 17 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ted Van Kirk, Oceanside, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eaton; son-in-law, Kirk Hazen; great-grandsons, Kirk and Kobe; parents and 3 brothers.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary.
