Marjorie Evelyn Neff, a beloved and faithful wife, passed away on May 9, 2024, in Layton, Utah. She was born on August 18, 1948, in Eugene, Oregon to Mary Luceil Smith and Jim smith.
Her personality shone through as a supporter of various charitable causes alongside her husband John. Marjorie was an outspoken Patriot who always stood up for what she believed in. Love for her home was evident in the beautiful landscaping that brought color and joy to the neighborhood. In her youth in California, she displayed skill as a horsewoman and later embraced outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, shooting, and camping. Marjorie was also an avid UTAH JAZZ fan.
Among her proudest accomplishments was her role as a military wife and the support she provided to her husband during their journey together. Marjorie was known for her unwavering dedication to her husband John throughout his military service and retirement, as well as during his late-emerging disability.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband John and sister Leilani Just. She is survived by her brothers: Michael and Larry along with multiple cousins, nephews and nieces.
Funeral Services to honor Marjorie's life will be held May 16, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd. Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family and friends May 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday May 16, from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM.
Interment-Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton.
Marjorie Neff will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all those whose lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and unwavering love.
