Marjorie Joan Moss-Green
KAYSVILLE a" Surrounded by her many loved ones, Marjorie Joan Moss-Green returned in peace to her Father in Heaven on Saturday, June 30, 2007. She was blessed to this earth on October 13, 1929 in Kaysville, Utah, the daughter of Florence Elvira Higgs and Ira Buys Moss.
She married Udell "Yode" Green in Kaysville on September 25, 1947. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple and they spent the remaining years of their lives in Kaysville where they raised their four children. She will forever be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and love for her family. She lived with such a love and passion of sports, and loved black and white cowboy films. She was a fan of John Wayne but was the biggest fan of her grandkids as they pursued their own dreams.
Marjorie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had served as a Relief Society and Primary President, Sunday School and Primary teacher and was a Den Mother. She was active in the Jaycees and had been President of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Davis-Kaysville Company.
She is survived by her four children: Mardell (William) Amundsen, Joel Udell (Linda) Green, Randy M. (Jodi) Green, and Brad C. (Kari) Green; 24 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren; one bother, Gary Moss.
Preceded in death by her husband C. Udell Green, mother Florence Corbridge, father Ira Moss, sister Colleen Rowley, brother Rodney Moss, and her great-granddaughter, Taylee Joe Reeves.
Funeral services will be held at Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main Street. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
