Marjorie Lee Hadlock

Marjorie Lee Hadlock, 90, passed away on May 11, 2013 at her home in Alexandria, Virginia.

Mrs. Hadlock was born in Durham, NC, on September 17, 1922, daughter of William Elton and Elizabeth Horton Lee. She attended Meredith College in Raleigh, NC and worked in Washington, DC for many years in communications and radio.

Following her marriage to Williard Vern Hadlock of Ogden in 1949, they lived in New Jersey and Indonesia, while Mr. Hadlock worked for the Esso Corporation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Hadlock, in 1999.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Don) Elder of Alexandria, VA; Joan (Mark) Fontes of Raleigh, NC; and granddaughters, Sara and Katherine Fontes.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
