Marjorie Lucille Reed Hawks

Marjorie Lucille Reed Hawks, 93, passed away on August, 1, 2014.

She was born on July 25, 1921 in Clearfield, UT to George H. Reed and Irene Hatch Reed.

Marjorie married Daniel J Hawks on August 10, 1942. She served an LDS mission with him in Chicago. She is now reunited with the love of her life.

She was a home builder as a construction contractor , she was one of the hardest workers we have ever known . She also enjoyed gardening and had a good sense of humor.

Marjorie is survived by her son Jeff Hawks; her daughters, Diane Spalding; and Debra (Ted) Wige ; 8 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great-Granddaughter; her brother Ken Reed; and her sister Irene Murray.

She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel J Hawks; her son Gary Reed Hawks; son-in-law Gerry Spalding; and her grandson Brad Spalding.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 10 am at the Clearfield Cemetery, 1050 S State St. Clearfield, UT. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
