Marjorie Jacobson, age 86, passed away peacefully at 3:05 a.m. April 3, 2014. Marjorie was a long time resident of Clearfield. Mom was born during a blizzard on December 28, 1927 to Louis C and Imogene Hendrickson Jacobsen in Salt Lake City. Mom grew up in Salt Lake living between the railroad tracks on 5 th and 6 th west. For the most part she was a homemaker. However, she did sell Avon to help her son serve a mission and then she worked school lunch mostly at Syracuse Elementary and Hill Field Elementary schools.
She was very active in the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Primary, Young Women and Relief Society. Whenever a chaperone was needed mom would volunteer or would be volunteered by kids in the ward.
