CLEARFIELD - Marjorie Wiscombe McKee celebrated her 90th birthday and shortly after returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 17, 2012 in Clearfield, Utah. She was born in Roosevelt, Utah June 22, 1922 the third of six children of Arthur and Blanch Clark Wiscombe.

She graduated from Alerra High School, attended BYU in Provo and Excelcis Beauty College in Salt Lake City.

During World War II, she worked at Vega Aircraft in Taft, California, making bulkheads for B17 bombers.

Marjorie married Jay P. Simpson in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 23, 1949 and divorced in 1979. He died in 1993. They had three sons and one daughter, Michael R. (Dyanna) Simpson, Salt Lake City; Randy (Marybeth) Simpson, Sandy; Vicky (Kurt) Hansen, Camano Island, Washington; Rex (Colleen) Simpson, Las Vegas, Nevada and 10 grandchildren.

She married DeVon J. McKee on September 2, 2000 in the Bountiful Temple, a high school sweetheart. She is survived by stepsons, Douglas (Verna) McKee, Ralph (Maxine) McKee, Michael (Karen) McKee, Morris (Kirsten) McKee all of Tridell, Utah; Darwin (Merrillii) McKee, Duchesne; step-daughters, Eileen (Lane) Davis, South Jordan; Sherrie (Lon) Brinkerhoff, Vernal; Phyllis (Michael) Hall, Layton; Janet (Neil) Bartlett, Vernal; 65 grandchildren and 95 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brothers, Cloyd Wiscombe, Tijuana, Mexico; and Erold Wiscombe, West Valley.

She owned and operated the Simpson Beauty Shop for 15 years in Salt Lake City and Syracuse, Utah and was manager of the Factory Outlet Store at the Freeport Center for 10 years upon her retirement.

Marjorie was a member of the Clearfield 2nd Ward and held many positions in the Stake Sunday School for 22 years, Junior Sunday School, and was the Homemaking Director in three different wards and worked in the Temple.

She loved doing all kinds of crafts, sewing, crocheting, quilt making, gardening, sports, was an avid JAZZ fan and loved life to the fullest.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband DeVon McKee, son, Michael R. Simpson, brothers, Raymond Wiscombe, Arthur Wiscombe and sister, Gwen Wiscombe Jones.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Tridell Cemetery, Tridell, Utah at 3 p.m.
