Marjorie Joice Reardon

Marjorie Joice Reardon, 85, died Friday, July 3, 2009 at her daughter''s home of natural causes.

She was born July 4, 1923 in North Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Harold Lorenzo Roylance and Janetta Maria Ferrin, the oldest of eleven children. She was raised and educated in West Ogden.

On September 6, 1938, Marjorie married Merlin "Roy" LeRoy Reardon in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Roy preceded her in death on August 13, 1972.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Marjorie retired from McKay-Dee Hospital.

She loved quilting, sewing and baking. Most of all she loved spending time with her 48 grandchildren, 192 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Marjorie is survived by three sons and three daughters, LeRoy Reardon, Roy; Bob Reardon, Ogden; Richard (Christine) Reardon; Leona (Gene, deceased) Ropelato, Taylor; Jeanene (Richard) Herrera, Ogden; Roylene (Jay) Schumer, Clearfield; four brothers and four sisters, Gordon Roylance, Harold (Colleen) Roylance, Duane (Diane) Roylance, Adin (Diane) Roylance, Della Goss, Janetta (Bill) Zink, Siama (Keith) Hadley, Shanna (Roy) Durham.

She was preceded in death by four sons, Merlin, James, John and Orrin Reardon and two sisters, Wanda Roylance and Hazel Casey.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 7th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.

Family and friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
