CLEARFIELD a€" Marjorie May Waggoner, beloved matriarch of our family returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the age of 87.

She was born January 22, 1924 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Ernest May and Mamie Bundy. She was the fourth of eight children. After the death of her father, she moved with her family to St. George, Utah where she was raised and educated.

She married Leroy I. (Cas) Waggoner June 7, 1942, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on February 21, 1953. She lived in Clearfield for 56 years, where she was very active in her church and many community activities.

Mom was a home maker and worked part time as a sales clerk. She was a very hard worker. Mom and Dad served an 18-month mission to Washington D.C., from September 1983 to March 1985. She spent nine wonderful years as a Service Missionary at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, in Salt Lake City.

Mom''s greatest love was being surrounded by all her loved ones, at family gatherings. Mom is a model of a devoted, faithful, and loving woman, who worked unceasingly to make her family "A Forever Family."

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband L.I. (Cas) Waggoner; sisters, Darlene May, Rose Warren, Daisy Downer, Pearl Prisbrey and brothers, Ernest May and Richard May.

She is survived by her children, Larry and Sharon Waggoner, Kaysville; Tom and Joan Waggoner, Syracuse; Michael Waggoner, Clearfield; Waunalee and Randy Hensley, Layton; 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, that she loved with all her heart.

She is also survived by her sister/best friend Anita Wilson Lewis.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield Park Chapel, 838 E. 600 So. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
