Marjorie "Midge" Wright

Marjorie “Midge” Pauline Wright, 91, passed away at home on June 22, 2016.  She was born to Edwin and Anna Ronning Norum on May 29, 1925 in Lisbon, North Dakota. She was always proud of her Norwegian heritage.  Midge married Robert Henry Wright on March 26, 1955 in Moorhead, Minnesota and they had three children: James Robert, Clinton, UT; Andrew Collins (Isabella), Syracuse, UT; and Susan Carolyn, Layton, UT; grandson Conor (Jacqueline) Wright; granddaughters Candice (Eliot) Reynolds; Sarah (Jeremy Hoppe) Rasmussen; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Parker, Kimber and Brecklyn.

Midge was a faithful member of Light of the Valley Lutheran Church in Layton and enjoyed her many friends and activities there.  She worked as an Office Manager at Hi-Land Dairy for over 20 years.  She was an avid reader and loved her dogs and their daily walks together.

She is survived by her three children, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her sisters Eleanor and Lillian.  She is preceded in death by her husband and brother Al.

Memorial services will be held at noon on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Light of the Valley Lutheran Church, 1074 N. Fairfield Rd, with Pastor Jonathan Klein officiating.

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, UT.
