Mark Todd Preece

Mark Todd Preece (63) of Kaysville, Utah passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday August 31, 2024.

 He was born April 7, 1961, to Mark Vernon Preece and Maryann Preece in Logan, Utah. He graduated from Davis High School in 1979. Shortly after graduation he moved to Cache Valley where he worked at Mountain Farms Cheese and met Dawn Greenlee (Wilson) and later married. They had three children before divorcing in 1986.

 He had a great life with his kids, teaching them about life, how to shoot guns, play sports, cards and also taking them camping, fishing and hiking.

 Mark is survived by his mother Maryann Preece, daughter Tonya Preece, daughter Lynze Preece, along with grandchildren, Dallas, Christian, Tyson, Skye, Kanyon, Serenity, Faith, Mea and Savannah, great granddaughter Amira, and his dog “Renny” (Renegade).

 He is preceded in death by his older brother Val, father Mark Vernon Preece and son Dustin Preece.

 The family would like to thank Joshua and the staff at Lindquist’s Mortuary for their help in their time of need.

 Funeral services will be held Thursday September 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. main St. Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit with family Wednesday September 11, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
