Marleen France Dansie
November 21, 1926 - March 21, 2017
Marleen France Dansie was born to Phillip Marlin France and Edna Isabelle Rushforth France in Centerville, Utah and left the world a better place after gracing it with her long, full, loving life. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Charles and Richard France and is survived by her sister E. Ethyln Harker. She is also survived by her husband of nearly 68 years, Jay B. Dansie, her five children Ryan (Deborah), Doug, Dane (Sharon), Jayann (Kevin) Mansfield and Trisha, eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Marleen was known as a wise and gentle natured person who always left others feeling uplifted and enhanced after being in her presence. Love was the basis for her existence and it quietly radiated through her every action. Marleen had a quick wit and was always able to respond in a way that made other people smile (usually when least expected).
While she had various careers and engaged in extensive volunteer work with church and school, her family was always her primary focus.
Special thanks to the many caregivers who assisted her in her final years, particularly the staff of Fairfield Village and Encompass.
Funeral services are to be held Saturday, March 25, 11:00 AM at the Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N Main St., Kaysville, UT. Friends may visit family Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Her final place of rest will be at the Kaysville City Cemetery.
