Marlene Henrietta Slot Hiatt passed away on March 21, 2017. She was born on April 21, 1932, to Jared Roghaar Slot and Virginia Helen Allen.

She married William Henry Hiatt on June 20, 1952 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings. She loved cooking, talking to people, camping, and spending time with her family.

Marlene is survived by her two sons, Brent (Marjean), Ogden, and Tracey (Kim), West Haven, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.   Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
