Marlow Wayne Larson passed away peacefully on August 18, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 17, 1933 to Afton E. and Nellie May Richardson Larson in Ogden, Utah.
After graduating from high school he met the love of his life Natacha Ann Purcell. They were married on March 6, 1954 and later sealed in the Ogden Temple on March 6, 2002. They enjoyed nearly 70 years of life together traveling the world and making so many fun memories with their friends, children, and grandchildren. The marriage was blessed with three children, Kathy, Brad, and Christy.
His passion was archery, successfully competing in tournaments both nationally and locally for over 50 years. He was the head designer and inventor at Browning Archery, in Morgan, Utah, after retiring from Hill Air Force Base, where he innovated the archery world with his 40 plus patents, including quivers, sights, stabilizers, releases and bows.
Marlow is survived by his children, Kathy (Lee) Fielding, Brad Larson, and Christy Larson; two beloved grandsons, Jason (Christina) Redden and Casey (Amy) Redden; three granddaughters, Kinsley Lewis, Jade (Drew) Smith, and Sage Redden; and one great-great-grandson, Beckham. He was preceded in death by his eternal sweetheart, Natacha; his mother and father; and two brothers, Theron and Dennis Larson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
