Marsha Carol Miller Vogrinec, 79, passed away at her home on Friday, September 13, 2024. She was born on October 20, 1944, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Henry Conrad and Katherine Meredith Miller. She graduated from Bonneville High School, attended Weber State University where she danced with the Chauntenelles, and later attended BYU.
She married Charles William Vogrinec on October 28, 1965, in Ogden, Utah, and together they had four children, Michelle, Jennifer, Gary, and Anthony. They made their home in Riverdale, Utah, where they resided for over 50 years.
Marsha was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings and presidencies. She had the opportunity to accompany her parents to Germany on a chapel building mission and served as a missionary. She quickly picked up the German language and enjoyed using it to communicate with family and friends throughout her life.
She loved to sew, serve others, and sing. She was a member of the Weber State Symphonic Choir and the Ogden Community Choir and shared her singing talents in many sacrament meetings. Marsha enjoyed serving in the PTA for numerous years. She was a practical joker who loved good pranks and was the queen of April Fool’s Day. Marsha had unlimited love for her family and friends. She could always be counted upon for a kind word, a note, a text or a letter, and was always the first with a birthday greeting and card.
Marsha is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles Vogrinec, Riverdale; daughters, Michelle Winter (Dave), Layton; Jennifer Welch (Harold), West Haven; son, Gary Vogrinec (Trisha), Centerville; 10 grandchildren, Chris, Matt, Alex, Sammy, Zach, Spencer, Brooke, Becca, Alli, and Cara; and 14 great grandchildren; her sister and brothers, Jean Cheney, Jerry Miller, and Tom Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Anthony Charles Vogrinec.
