Marshall Brian Luther was born on January 24, 2003. He lived nearly his whole life in Syracuse, Utah. He was dedicated to & loved his hometown. In 2021 he graduated from Syracuse High School & Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Seminary. Much of his focus being on robotics and construction trades during his high school career.
He was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served in many church youth leadership positions. Marshall also loved serving his peers on the Syracuse City Youth Court Committee for three years. He was gratified by the results of his hard work & he didn’t like the limelight. He was an avid and dedicated Boy Scout and diligently earned the rank of Eagle Scout on his own aspirations.
Marshall loved his country. He proudly voted for the first time in 2021. Marshall loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting & camping. He loved his truck and was proud and delighted that he paid cash in full for it. He loved making practical improvements on his truck. Marshall excelled at engineering and enjoyed building many types of projects throughout his life.
He loved carpentry and quickly became a very skilled carpenter. He was hard working & took great pride in his work ethic. Marshall aspired to become a General Contractor and own his own General Contracting Company. He started working towards that goal by recently enrolling at Weber State University to pursue a degree in business.
Marshall loved spending time with his family, especially sharing meals & playing games. He loved making others laugh & including everyone. He enjoyed gaming with his friends and watching funny movies. Marshall was a generous, kind-hearted man with a solid moral compass. He was always willing and eager to lend a hand to anyone. He was honest, kind & insightful. He didn't like or use social media; he enjoyed genuine friends and personal connections.
Marshall was called to serve his Heavenly mission on October 30, 2021, doing what he loved. He was on a hunting trip with his family and driving his beloved Ford Ranger when it rolled. Marshall leaves behind his Parents Brian & Maridee Luther, his Siblings; Cody & McKayla Baird, Andrew & Cami Butters, Walter Luther & Logan Luther. His niece Raven Butters and his Grandparents; Leon & Carol Dennis & Vicki Argyle.
We are honored and proud he was our son, not just because of his long list of accomplishments and talents, but because he was an honorable and kind man. We could always count on Marshall to be his Dad’s, right-hand man. He was Mom’s biggest supporter and protector and was always the unifier and peacemaker with his siblings.
