Martha Anne Myers

LAYTON a€" Martha Anne Myers died on Saturday, April 16, 2011. She was born on December 20, 1947 in Ogden to Alice Viola and Vernon Robert Borgeson.

Martha attended Clearfield High School in 1966 and attended Weber State College. She worked at the IRS at the Ogden Service Center for 37 years as a Supervisor in Un-Postables retiring in 2004.

She married Bruce D. Myers in 1967 for 43 years together and spent many a weekend attending gun, knife and teddy bear shows and had many good times in Wendover.

Martha was a member of Clearfield Community Church, and a Past Honored Queen and Guardian of Bethel #15 Jobs Daughters, Member and Past Matron of Beth Arabah Chapter #24 Order of Eastern Star.

Preceded in death by her parents and special cousin Michael E. Borgeson.

Martha is survived by her husband Bruce D. Myers, brothers Robert E. Borgeson, David (Ofilia) Borgeson, mother-in-law Betty Myers, several aunts and uncles Mildred Reed, Beverly Lovaasen, Don and Joann Borgeson, Richard and Wilma Borgeson, Frank and Jane Erwin, nephews Aaron Myers, Vernon Borgeson, David (Crystal) Borgeson, several cousins, great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial services and celebration of her life will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family one hour prior at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the Shriner''s Hospital Transportation Fund.
