Marti Hall

Marti Hall was born July 13, 1966 and passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013.

She attended Vae View Elementary, North Layton Junior High and Layton High School. She graduated and received her CNA at Byrums School and was employed at Stratus at the time of her passing.

Marti was always passionate about the things she liked, whether it was country music or Nascar, which were her favorites. She loved to sing, read, watch movies and found history a great pastime. We will always remember her beautiful smile and great sense of humor.

She spent a lot of good times with her friends and taking care of others. She particularly cared for and loved her friend, Barbara Fleek.

Marti loved being a grandmother to Rylee, she was the light of her life.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Waters, precious granddaughter, Rylee (Smooch as Marti called her), parents, Mike and Winon Hall, sister, Sonni (Joshua Tieg Scovel), special niece, Gretchen Fuchs, grandmother, Velma Hall, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Marti was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Mikale and grandparents, Bryan Hall, Glen and Grace Holyoak.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 9th at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the mortuary.

We would like to express our appreciation to all that have shared their love, support and memories of Marti.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Primary Children''s Hospital or the University of Utah Medical Research Department.
