Martin David DeCou

Martin (David) DeCou

Martin (David) DeCou left his earthly home and went to be with the LORD on December 3, 2010. He passed away at the U of U Hospital.

He was born December 17, 1963 in Kansas City, MO. He came to Utah with his family in 1971. He went to Monta Vista School in Farmington. He worked at PARC in Clearfield after he got out of school. He had worked at Travel Clean Car Wash in Layton with Phoenix Service for about two years and at Danville in Clearfield.

He went to live at the Roy Group home in 2005 then moved to Hobbs Home in Layton in 2008.

David was a very loving and caring person. He loved taking his nieces and nephews for rides on his three and four wheel bikes. He would watch over them to keep them from getting hurt.

He enjoyed working on demolition derby cars with his dad, brother and sisters. They came in first place in their first race.

David had a little white dog that he loved very much. He loved animals and children. He loved to be with people, making them happy and helping them if he could.

He leaves behind his mother of Layton; brother Daniel of Clearfield; sister Kathy of Wheelersburg, OH; and sister Penny of Layton.

We loved him very much and miss him. We hope to see him some day in Heaven.
