Marva Brown Clontz

Marva Brown Haymes Clontz, loving mother, grandmother, and aunt, returned to her Heavenly Father and many loved ones who passed on before her. What a great reunion she is having now. Marva passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2008.

Marva was born May 30, 1923 in Ogden, Utah to John Albert and Clara Ellen James Brown. She was the youngest of seven children.

Marva married Thomas A. Haymes on September 27, 1941. Together they had nine children, who all adored her very much. Marva and Thomas later divorced. On February 3, 1966, she married Eugene "Ted" Clontz. He was the love of her life and a great fishing companion and father to her children. Ted passed away July 10, 1981.

Marva loved to see and spend time with all of her children and grandchildren. She loved to crochet and give of her love through the afghans she made.

She is survived by her children, David (Mary) Haymes, Patrick (Felicia) Haymes, Deborah Haymes, Colleen Hawkins, Dean (Judy) Haymes, and Niora Varney. She has 34 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, three children, Sandra Matott, Thomas Haymes, Jr., and James Haymes, and two sons-in-law, Robert Varney and Dan Hawkins.

Mom and Grandma a€" we all love you very much. We are happy that you are at peace and that you are enjoying your family you haven''t seen for such a long time. Till we meet again, we love you "and that".

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.

Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
