Marvin “Mike” Badger Marvin Badger age 88, reverently known as “Mike”, passed away March 15, 2008 in Bountiful, Utah. Born to George E. Badger and Eva Jane Larsen October 23, 1919, in Brigham City, Utah. Lived and attended grade and high school in Heyburn, Idaho. Enlisted in the Marine Corps June 1941, and served in heavy artillery in Pacific. He was discharged in October 1945. Attended BYU, where he met Iva Lou Peterson, they married June 7, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. Mike was an active, devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He lived in Heyburn and taught school in Burley for three years, then worked and retired from J.R. Simplot Co. After Iva Lou’s death in 1978, Mike lived in Clovis, California for 12 years near his twin sister Mary. He has resided in Bountiful, Utah for the last four years prior to his death. He is survived by two brothers George; Irvine, CA and Glen; Bountiful, UT. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, four sister and two brothers. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 12 noon at the Riverside Cemetery, Heyburn, Idaho with full military honors. Funeral directors Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
