Marvin J. Smith OGDEN – Marvin J. Smith, 65, passed away peacefully from a year-long battle with leukemia. He was born September 24, 1944 to George and Fern Irene Elmer Smith. He attended Ogden City Schools. Marvin worked at the family business, Smith Boiler Works, for many years. Surviving are two sisters, Judy L. Harris, Burley, ID; and Robin A. Johnson, Layton, UT; four nephews, Phillip Harris, Craig Harris, Cody Smith, Chaz Smith; three nieces, Sherri Smith, Tonya Smith and Brandi Smith; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and a longtime companion, Pamela Tucker, Ogden. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lynn Stewart Smith and Clifford George (Fran) Smith. Inurnment graveside services will be held Saturday, June 12 at 11 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery. Arrangements and cremation entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
