Marvin Ralph Spaulding

Marvin Ralph Spaulding passed away on November 5, 2015. He was born on June 12, 1937 to Ralph Deforest and Emma Lucille Hitchcock Barzee Spaulding in Price, UT.

Marvin grew up in the Weber and Davis areas. He married Gaylene Woodruff Wood. Marvin worked for Hill Air Force Base. He loved to golf, hike, fish, camp, and ski. Marvin enjoyed listening to music.

Marvin is survived by his daughters, Lisa Ann (Travis) Snyder-Kunkle, Kelly Toloso, Laura (Darren) Taylor; sisters, Margie (Ross) Barney, Jeneal Packard, Mary Neil; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Gaylene Spaulding; parents, Ralph and Emma Spaulding; sisters; and son, Marvin Russell Spaulding.

Lisa is honored to call Marvin her father. All that knew Marvin loved his kind and gentle soul. Marv will be missed by all that loved him.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will be at the Smithfield City Cemetery.
