Mary Forbes Bosworth

Mary Caroline Swanson Forbes Bosworth, 93, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Chancellor Gardens. She was born November 22, 1919 in Des Moines, Iowa to Oscar and Ida Anderson Swanson. She spent her early years in Iowa and moved to Salt Lake in 1924. She graduated from South High School and then attended the U of U for two years. Mary married Cleon Morgan Bosworth on February 22, 1941 and he died on March 15, 1995.

Mary was a member of the Roy Christian Church and also a member of the Cosmo Club in Roy. She loved reading and keeping up with current events. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn (Wayne) Jeffs, Clinton, UT, and Barbara (Boyd) Hansen, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Cleon.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.
