Mary LaRue Tippets Brown, 87, arrived in Heaven on Thursday, May 27, 2010.

She was born March 21, 1923 in Georgetown, ID to Joseph Maurice and Hannah Emorette Wixom Tippets. She graduated from Ogden High School and Weber College.

On September 10, 1942, LaRue married Fred LeRoy Brown and together they had nine children.

She is survived by her children, Gary and Carolyn Brown, Carl and Debbie Brown, Maxine Maloney, Glen and Lenore Brown, VerDene and Craig Stephens, Neil and Marty Brown, Korene and Paul Ewing, Mark Brown, Alan and Darcy Brown; 39 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Wayne, Thad and Lewis Tippets.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers, Reed, Ray, Gene, John, Joe, four sisters, Lucille, Maureen, Nellie, Mildred, two grandsons, Gary and Jeffrey Brown, and two great-grandchildren.

The family expresses sincere appreciation to Grandview Care Lodge in Grand Junction, CO.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 1st at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

A viewing will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
