Mary Johnson Bylund
Kaysville a" Mary Johnson Bylund passed from this life into the arms of her sweetheart on Tuesday, June 19, 2012.
Mary was born in Spanish Fork, Utah on March 12, 1928 to John K. and Vessa Johnson.
She worked at a movie theater taking tickets where she met her sweetheart Paul M. Bylund. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 21, 1946.
They were blessed with five children, Brent (Cheryl) Bylund, North Ogden; Connie (deceased) (Lon) Arnell, North Ogden; Gayle (Bruce) McGraw, Kaysville; Nan (Eldon) Call, serving a mission in the Washington DC Temple; and Joy Bylund, Kaysville. They were also blessed with 20 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and two on the way.
Mary was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved music and was a very talented pianist. She enjoyed writing her own music and poetry. She was a very kind and loving person and many called her friend.
She is survived by her children, brother, John (Shirley) Johnson and sister, Lois (Rex) Shepherd.
Preceded in death by her husband Paul, daughter Connie, granddaughter Jennie, brother Dean, three sisters, Kay, Jane and Lynette. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Kaysville Rock Chapel, 200 E. Center Street. Friends may visit family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
