Mary Elizabeth Fielding-Clontz

August 27, 1938 ~ September 10, 2016

Mary Elizabeth Fielding Clontz, 78, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in Wendover, NV.  She was born on August 27, 1938 in Shelley, ID, the daughter of Earl Wilford and Willena Madsen Fielding.  

She married Lee Jonas on July 23, 1955 in Elko, NV, and they later divorced.  She married Jeff Clontz in 1960 and they divorced and remarried on June 11, 1999.  They enjoyed 10 years together until Jeff’s passing on July 6, 2009.  

Mary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She was also a member of VFW.  

She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and gambling.  

Mary is survived by her sons, Robert Jonas, Yakima, WA and Jeffery (Jamie) Childress, Wilcox, AZ; daughters, Selma Clontz, Mesa, AZ and Michelle (AJ) Davies, North Ogden, UT; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leon, Reed, and Clyde Fielding.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Clontz; Children, Juanita and Brett Jonas; great-grandchildren, the Cooper twins; parents, Earl and Willena Fielding; and sister, Betty Lou Anderson.

The family would like to extend an extra thank-you to all of those that were with her or took care of her in anyway, especially during her final moments with us.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
