Mary Boneva “Bonnie” Eldridge
July 1, 1931 ~ March 14, 2017
Mary “Bonnie” Howell Eldridge, 85, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. She was born on July 1, 1931 in Anaheim, California to Harry Gilbert and Virginia Paull Porter Howell. She spent most of her life in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School, class of 1949.
Bonnie married David Charles Eldridge on September 19, 1952 in Ogden, Utah. “Chuck” passed away on January 30, 1997.
Bonnie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully on the Cub Scout Committee, in Relief Society, and as a Family History worker.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, doll-making, ceramics, and politics. She also enjoyed being an election judge and was a member of the Democratic Party.
Bonnie is survived by her son, David Keith (Rebecca) Eldridge, League City, TX; four grandchildren, Austin Keith, Megan Anne, Toby Ashton, and Holly Kate; and brother, John Francis (Donna) Howell, West Haven. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Charles Eldridge; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
The family thanks Sharon and Eddie Dickerson for their vigilant and loving service. You were our eyes and ears and hands these many years.
