HOOPER – Elenora Fowers Hooper age 84 passed away peacefully at her home on July 19, 2013 with her loving son by her side.
She was born July 27, 1928 to Glen and Elva Youngberg Fowers.
She attended school in Weber County graduating from Weber High School.
Elenora met and married Dell Hooper April 3, 1947 in Hooper. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on November 10, 1992. Dell passed away August 1, 2011.
Elenora lived her entire life in Hooper.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She taught Sunday School for many years and was a member of the Pioneer Trails Ward.
She worked for American Foods, Smith’s Food King and at Hill Air Force Base.
Elenora enjoyed working alongside Dell on the farm, gardening, cooking, playing the organ, golf and her family.
She is survived by her son Doug Hooper and two grandchildren; Glen Hooper and Nicole Hooper. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Elden Fowers and her husband.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South in Roy. Family will meet with friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Hooper cemetery
