Mary Manning Johnson, loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away Monday, June 14, 2010 at the home of her daughter.
She was born April 8, 1925, to Benjamin and Virgie Manning, at home in Hooper. She graduated from Weber High School.
Mary met her eternal sweetheart while working at Swift and Company. She married William "Billy" H. Johnson on November 17, 1950. Their vows were solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on October 11, 1960 and they had their three children sealed to them. Billy passed away December 7, 1998. Mary held many church callings; Bill and Mary served in the genealogy library and the Ogden LDS Temple.
She is survived by her children, Henry (Jill) Johnson, Plain City; Randy Johnson, Hooper; Bonnie (David) Olsen, Roy; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Claude (Viola) Manning, Gerald (Betty) Manning, two sisters, Cleone Moore and Margene (Alan) Montghy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy, a grandson, Brody Johnson, three sisters, Theda Cox, Belva King, Margaret McCracken, two brothers, Keith and Ralph Manning.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 19th at 11 a.m. at the Hooper 2nd Ward Chapel, 5000 South 5900 West.
The family will meet friends for a viewing on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the church.
Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
