Mary Kubicki

June 1, 1950 ~ February 22, 2016

On February 22, 2016 our mom, Mary Kubicki, passed away surrounded by her family.  She was an amazing woman. She had such a great love for her husband and chick-a-dees; such a great love that was truly felt and will be deeply missed. There's nothing she wouldn't do. Besides being a great mom, she was a best friend.  Such a passion for life, she could strike up a conversation with anyone she met.

Mary Celeste Roney Kubicki was born on June 1, 1950 to the late Glenn and Sara Roney in Hillsdale, Michigan outside of Hudson, Michigan where she grew up.  Mary graduated with a Masters degree in Education from Clarkson University. With her husband being in the military, she taught all over the country and for DODs school in Adana,Turkey. After being stationed to Utah in 1999, she became a teacher at St. Joseph's Elementary in Ogden until her retirement last spring.

With her husband of forty years, John Kubicki, she shares two children John "Johnny" and Alix. She is also survived by family members, Grace Afridi family and Scott Figeroa.

She will be laid to rest next to her father,  mother, brother, Matthew Roney and "the rest of the clan".

Friends may visit with family on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
