Mary LaRene Anderson was born December 8, 1935 in Manti, Utah to Mary Elizabeth King. She departed this life peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from natural causes.

LaRene was married to Harold P. Anderson on November 12, 1953 in the Manti LDS Temple.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in many capacities during her life. She served as a Relief Society President for many years and blessed the lives of many families in her Ward.

She loved to knit, cross-stitch, and scrapbook. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

LaRene is survived by her children, Michael and Kenneth (Cindy); 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary “Nan” Elizabeth King, her husband, Harold P Anderson and her son, Gary Scott Anderson.

Graveside services will be held on Monday May 10, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
