OGDEN a€" Mary Eloisa Lopez passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 27, 2010 with her children near her side, at St. Mark''s Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Mary was born December 20, 1934 to David and Donnecia Garcia in Taos, New Mexico.

Mary married her first husband in 1951 and they had four loving daughters. She married Fernando Lopez, her true love, in 1971 and together they had two sons.

Mary will be remembered for her love of living. She enjoyed dancing, celebrating life, her trips to Wendover and spending time with her family. She touched the hearts of many with her humor and compassion. She left lasting impressions on all she met. Mary was a member of the Eagles Lodge for some time and frequently attended church and church activities with her dear friend, Boris Aaron.

Mary is survived by her sons, Fernando Lopez, Jr., Perfecto D. (Anna) Lopez, Eduardo Lopez, and daughters, Becky Martinez, Charlotte (Joel) Rodriquez, Nancy (Ismael) Rougle, and Teresa Esquibel; four brothers and one sister. She will be missed dearly by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her best friend and husband, Fernando Lopez, three sisters, one brother, and her courageous grandson, Larry Rougle.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Family will meet friends at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Her final resting place will be at the Ogden City Cemetery.

Mom, we will miss you, and our lives have forever changed. We hope you are dancing in heaven.
