CLEARFIELD - Our sweet Mary passed away at home surrounded by her family on January 23, 2017.  She was born November 18, 1947 to loving parents who were married for beyond decades, LaRue and Charles Casey.

Early on she became very strong willed and independent; an amazing woman who was loved, admired and cherished by so many people and loved ones.  She was the mother of two children, Jennifer and Christopher, a grandmother of three, Kaziah, Alexis and Teanna, and great grandmother to Jessie and Oakley.  Her closest friends included Jeanine Tremen and Sheila Granado.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Casey, her mother, LaRue Casey, brother, Dennis Casey and son, Christopher Swindells.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.  A gathering for family and friends, in Mary’s honor, will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
