Mary Jane “Jenny” Ortiz OGDEN – Mary Jane “Jenny” Boney Ortiz, 52, died Sunday, July 15, 2007 in South Ogden. She was born November 26, 1954 in Platteville, Colorado, a daughter of Nasario and Emma Padilla Boney. Jenny was married and later divorced. She attended Ben Lomond High School and the ATC where she received her diploma. Jenny worked two jobs her entire life until she went blind. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Jenny loved to dance and sing. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. Surviving are two children, Bobbie (Jaime) Gomez and Matthew J. Boney, both of Ogden; four grandchildren, Andrena Nielson Boney, Lancaster, CA; Jaysea Emma Boney, Julian Joseph Gomez and Joel Alonzo Gomez, and five step-grandchildren, all of Ogden; three sisters and six brothers, all of Ogden; many nieces and nephews that loved her, all of Ogden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nasano and Emma Boney, grandparents, Julian and Beatrice Padilla, a granddaughter, Dominika Barrella Boney, and a nephew, T.J. (Thomas Jr.) Boney. The family wishes to thank the staff at Manor Care and Bonneville Dialysis Center for all their love and care of Mary. Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. where Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Memorial services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 514 – 24th Street.
