Mary Rozetta Nelson Robins
LAYTON a" Mary Rozetta Nelson Robins, 93, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at home with family at her side.
She was born May 13, 1914 the sixth of 11 children to Walter and Nellie Nelson in Milton, Utah.
Raised in the Morgan valley graduating from Morgan High School.
She married Frank Robins September 16, 1937 in Kaysville, Utah, their vows solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
An active member of the LDS church, she enjoyed serving in the Relief Society, Primary and especially as a ward and stake drama director, expressing her testimony through service. Always a positive influence for good. She devoted her life to family and friends, loving them unconditionally, the "go to girl." Canning fruits and vegetables, sewing, quilting and growing beautiful roses were skills and talents that set her apart as a wonderful homemaker. Forever young at heart she loved family parties and holiday get-togethers. She scattered sunshine all along the way and we will truly miss her.
Survived by one brother Kenneth (Neeta) Nelson, children and spouses, Connie and Ken Chambers, Linda and Phil Lapp and Norris and Dale Rae Robins, 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Robins Park Ward, 202 W. 1675 No., Layton. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Milton Cemetery.
