Mary Schreck

Mary Schreck, our cherished mother and grandmother, passed away at home on Sunday, November 1, 2009.

Mary was born July 17, 1920, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cilensek Sr., of Rock Springs, Wyoming.

She married the love of her life, E. Paul Schreck, on May 13, 1940, they were married for over 60 years.

Together they moved to Utah and raised 9 children: W. Paul (Betty Jo) Schreck, Paula (Richard) Lonneman, Robert (Marie) Schreck, Richard (Diana) Schreck, Mary Louise (Alan) Herzog, Jeanne (Tom) Clarke, Kevin (Connie) Schreck, Carla (Roger) McKenzie, Tamara (Graham) Pierson, 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Mary dedicated her entire life to the care and comfort of her family. She had a unique gift with children, and played an important role in each grandchild''s life.

Mary was a member of the Catholic Church and had faith that was unshaken through the many joys and trials of life. She was truly blessed by her wonderful caregivers that made it possible to live out her life in her own home with her special dog companion, Lucky.

A private family service will be held Thursday. She will be laid to rest next to her dear husband.
