Mary Beth Gale Seper, 67, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family surrounding her on Thursday, August 22, 2013 after a courageous battle against cancer.
She was born on September 8, 1945, to Ronald and Beulah Gale in Ogden Utah. Mary Beth graduated from Clearfield High School. On April 15, 1966 (tax day), she married her beloved Husband, Steve Seper, who has dedicatedly loved her in sickness and in health.
Mary Beth was a long-time member of the Roy 16th Ward and faithfully served in various callings. She worked at IRS for 30yrs. She loved all crafts, and her cinnamon rolls and hand-dipped chocolates were unequalled. She was instrumental in bringing AYSO soccer to the Roy area. She thoroughly enjoyed coaching and loved every player as if they were her own. Her talents, her dry sense of humor and her generous spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Mary Beth is survived by her husband Steve Seper, Roy, UT; her son Shane (Susan) Seper of West Haven, UT; her daughter Steph (Lance) Wead of Cody, WY; her four grandchildren; MakaeLyn, Colten, Stetson and Alexandria; her siblings Russell (Charlene) Gale, Larry (Betty) Gale and Eva Lynn (Wayne, dec''d) London, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Archie (Daphne dec''d) Gale; a nephew, Robert and a grandson, Joshua.
We would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Vincent Hansen and his staff; and the staffs of Pine View Transitional Rehabilitation, Legacy Home Health, Legacy Hospice and Deseret Medical for their compassionate care. We would also like to say a special thank you to all of Mary Beth''s friends and family who honored her wishes of a limited or no visit. Her love for others poured out so freely from her spirit, but her body did not have the energy for it.
