June 27, 1923 ~ September 30, 2014

Mary Shaw, 91, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Quail Meadows Assisted Living in North Ogden, Utah.  She was born on June 27, 1923 in Liberty, Utah, to James Leon and Naomi Rhodes Shaw.  She attended Weber County Schools and graduated from Weber High School Class of 1941.  She also attended Ogden Business College.

She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many various church callings.  She served an LDS Mission to Canada from December 1945 to June 1947.

Mary enjoyed working at the Ogden Credit Bureau, Arsenal, Crown Zellerback in California, and Eimco in Salt Lake City.  After she retired in 1989 she loved traveling, volunteering at the elementary schools, and working at the family history library.  Everyone who knew Mary loved her.

Mary is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, William Leland, Norris James, Lyle R. Shaw; and sister, Juanita Shaw.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Liberty City Cemetery located 3900 North SR 162.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
