Mary Martha Shawhan our loving wife, mother and grandmother, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2012. She was born on March 2, 1938 in Wellsville, Utah to Ernest B. and Pearl Jones Hubbard.

She married Richard F. Walker on July 1, 1959 in the Logan LDS Temple. He passed away on June 3, 1997. Mary married Jerry D. Shawhan on November 7, 2006 in Harrisville.

Mary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed working in the Los Angeles LDS Temple and Ogden LDS Temple.

She worked as an office manager or clerk for various companies. She loved square dancing.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Shawhan, North Ogden; daughter Julie Tichonchuk, San Diego, CA; 3 grandchildren; and brothers, Jay Hubbard, Reed Hubbard and Dee Hubbard.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Walker; parents; and sisters, Dorothy Bradshaw and Arda Mae Kidman.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 10 a.m. at North Ogden 24th Ward Chapel, 1150 East 2600 North. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. Interment, Wellsville City Cemetery.
