Mary E. Ashmore Stitzer

KAYSVILLE – Mary E. Stitzer passed away on December 28, 2014.

She was born in Victoria, Texas on August 16, 1945 to James Howard and Irene Ashmore.

Mary met the love of her life William M. Stitzer. They were married on November 6, 1965 and had 48 wonderful years until his passing on October 12, 2013.

She was a nurse for 20 years.

She is survived by her son William (Donna), daughter Rhonda (Bill) Boyd, six grandchildren, Erica, Jack, Charlene, Mikey, Carrie and Shawn and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, sisters, and many aunts and uncles.

The family would like to thank Alisha Montoya, Dr. Michael Voss and the staff of 5 West University Hospital, Dr. Kevin Gardner for all the love and support.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends may visit Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
